This section contains the slides and the notes I used for the seminar I delivered in March-April 2009 to the undergraduate students of the course of Aegean Civilization, held by Prof. A. M. Jasink at the University of Florence. The aim is not only to offer a general outline of the Inscriptions and Pseudo-inscriptions on Minoan and Mycenaean vases, but also to introduce research methods, based on the integration of philological and archaeological investigation, through specific examples, moving from the certain (or the best known) to the uncertain (or the least known). Because the seminar was for Italian students, the texts and the slides are in Italian. Table of contents:
