Portal Mainz and DBAS: the Ahhiyawa Question database

Portal Mainz and DBAS co-operate in the Ahhiyawa Question database. The basic frame of this database has been implemented and it is now at disposal in a specific on-line page (DBAS-AQ). It provides the option of a crossed search on geographical and/or onomastic ground, with related Hittite textual references. As to the collaboration with Portal Mainz, it allows a direct link to Hittite texts on Ahhiyawa, hosted in the Konkordanz der hethitischen Textedatabase by Silvin Košak, which will lead, eventually, to the original pictures of the cuneiform tablets themselves in the Mainzer Photoarchiv.
